Welcome to The Forward Note

Fearless Forward did not begin when I created this website. It began years ago, in the private work of trying to understand my life well enough to write it down.

For a long time, I wrote honestly and from the heart, but I wrote primarily for my family. I wanted them to know who I was, where I came from, what I had survived, and why I made some of the choices I did. If someone else read the words and found meaning in them, I was grateful. But the thought of deliberately placing those stories in front of a wider audience made me uncomfortable. Writing the truth was one thing. Asking people to see me in it was another.

Even after publishing my books, I hesitated to publicize them. Sharing the work felt too close to self-promotion, and self-promotion felt like exposure. It took time to understand that hiding the books also meant hiding the voice I had worked so hard to reclaim.

This site represents a different decision. I am ready to show who I am, where I came from, and where I am going. Not without fear, but with courage and confidence. I am no longer waiting to feel fearless before allowing myself to move forward.

Here, I will tell the truth, the hard, the hopeful, and the healing. You will find stories from my life, reflections on resilience, and words I wish I had heard when I needed them most. I do not write from a place of having all the answers. I write from lived experience and the hope that something here speaks to yours.

If you’re walking through something hard right now, just know: you’re not alone.

There was a time I let fear make the decisions. Fear of judgment. Fear of failure. Fear of not being enough.

But over time, I learned something powerful: fear doesn’t always mean stop. Sometimes it means pay attention. Sometimes it means you’re close to something that matters.

Fear used to silence me. Now, I’ve taught it to sit in the passenger seat while I drive forward,on my terms, in my own time.

This space, Fearless Forward, is about showing up anyway. It honors the messy, beautiful, painful, and powerful parts of the journey, including the parts we once believed had to remain hidden.
